I love Florine Mark; her most excellent plan has allowed me to lose weight and improve my overall health. I've been a bona fide Weight Watchers member for eight months now, and I firmly believe that the plan works. I partied too hard over Christmas and gained back four of the pounds that I had lost, but I have subsequently lost that again. Good things.
However, for the past month, I've been beyond frustrated. One week, down half a pound. The next week, up half a pound. Next week, down. Next week up. Gah! I'm staying within my points, not exhausting my flex points, and earning about 30 points per week in activity. I'm doing everything right, right? Right. Talk about frustrating!
I talked to my leader this weekend, and she said that my body is getting lazy. It's used to all the fruits and veggies, and it's growing complacent. So, I need to mix it up. Beginning Saturday, I did just that. While still staying within my points, I'm eating all different things -- and I'm kind of weirded out by it. I've focused on fewer veggies and instead am doing low-fat dairy and meats. Y'all, it's working. I weighed myself this morning and was down two pounds in two days.
We'll have to see if this holds up on the scale this weekend, but I'm hopeful. Of course, the strange thing is that I miss my salads, fruits, etc. I'm hoping to return to my normal later this week.
In the meantime, 'tis passing strange to eat this stuff. Such a creature of habit, I am.

Don't forget that your weight will fluctuate at certain times of the day and month.
Change your workout too. Many your body is used to what you are doing.
Hang in there!
Ahhhh...you hit the dreaded plateau. Something just about every WW will attain as they go through their weight loss journey.
Your WW leaders gave great advice. Your body is complacent and needs a change a pace. Another suggestion is to try the Core Plan. I was exclusively a Core Plan follower, for the most part. When I reached a plateau I would switch to the Flex Plan for a change of pace and that usually jump-started me to the losing side.
Keep it up!
