Last night I was running with my nephew down a breezeway at the tennis courts. It was wonderful to do that run with him, hear him laughing because he & I were racing, and for me to come to a stop and not feel out of breath. That, my friends, is what this challenge is all about.
Getting healthy & fit.
Increasing your cardio output will help in many aspects of your life:
- sleep
- breathing
- stamina
- weight loss
- self-confidence
Those are just a few that have improved in my life. What about you? Since you've been increasing your cardio output, what has changed for you?

Great topic, Ragey!!! I am so glad that you are feeling great. And having your nephew to work out with is awesome.
For me, it's alleviating the symptoms of depression. I have battered depression and anxiety for most of my life. Working out is great for getting those brain cells to start bouncing around. Also, it's a great stress reliever.
I am also sleeping better. I have not battled insomnia lately.
And..uh.. let's just say the mojo is on the rise! :)
It's not being able to run after a niece or nephew with the same vigor as I did with my older nieces that keeps me in the loop. This week, I attended one yoga class, but walked the stairs several times, including doing an unexepected four-flighter during a fire drill this week!
SO this counts as my weekly check-in, I guess.
Oh a rise in the mojo is a good thing! :)
Good for you Joanna! Good for you!
