Try This...10 Minute Drill

I was thinking about Kai's frustration and I thought this might help. This is also great for those of you who might be bored with the same old walking on the treadmill routine.

One of my favorite workouts for the gym is what I call the 10 minute drill. Here's how it works. Choose three different machine. I like to use the treadmill, recumbent bike and the elliptical. Start with the treadmill. Go for 10 minutes using whatever setting you wish, making sure you get your heart rate up. Then, move to the bike and go for 10 minutes using whatever setting you wish. Finally, finish on the elliptical for 10 minutes. Use any machine you wish for additional cool down or do some stretching.

You will get a great workout that targets many muscle groups. Also, 10 minutes flies by rather fast. You will be surprise how fast the time goes. Plus, you will not get bored because you are changing machines. You can really challenge yourself by increasing the time or intensity on each machine.

I'm definitely trying this! Especially since I do get so bored on the treadmill easily. Switching it up is a great idea and will definitely make the time go faster I think. GREAT suggestion!
