I have not worked out since Saturday, mostly because of the cold. I work out in the basement of my house, but despite the fact that it is a finished basement, it is very cold down there. Plus, the joints are not happy with the -20 wind chill that exists in my neck of the woods. I might try to do a video workout, but often I have to chase the dog because he thinks we are playing!
It's frustrating because I have been unable to be as consistent with my workouts like I was when I was working. I had a routine and was very disciplined with that routine. For some reason, I can't get that routine at home. It just seems so easy to not to. I can think of tons of things that could do or should do. I start having fears of ballooning up to where I once was. I know that sounds crazy...
I am curious as to how some of you deal with this dilemma!!!!

It is quite a difficult task to workout when one is cold. How are you with those workout DVDs? Personally, I've never tried one, but I've been thinking about investing in one. I peruse the WW messages boards every now and then and many of the folks on there like the series of videos called The Firm.
On the routine thing, I take it you don't keep a calendar anymore huh? If you do, write it down as an appointment with yourself. For me that is a way of holding me accountable to myself. It may be worth giving it a try. Or write down what you want to do on the calendar you have posted in the kitchen (if you have one). That way it is out there for the public to see (namely your husband). Just a thought.
