Yay! I exercised!

I'm really excited about this, which is pretty sad. But going against my desire to just head in to work and figure out the exercise thing later, I did my Tae-Bo tape this morning! It was a new tape and so I didn't know all the moves so I think in the end I probaly only got 20 minutes of good cardio. But Tae-Bo is great because you automatically get stregthening in too. So I think this counts! One workout down, only two to go this week! I haven't exercised in over a month, maybe two. So this is really pretty good for me.

What I learned from today and yesterday are:
  1. My house is too hot to workout in at night. With no air conditioning the heat really builds up
  2. My house is almost too hot to work out in at 11 AM, but I'll survive
  3. I am NOT an early morning worker-outer, no matter how much I tell myself I will be
  4. And, finally, I am most likely going to struggle with squeezing a workout in after work, when I'm grumpy and stuff
So what I need to do is find the times that work for me and not schedule anything during those time so they're always free for workouts.

Yay!

I love Tae Bo. After one of those workouts, I feel like I could kick someone's ass!

I always workout at the same time. I try not to schedule any meetings or appointments. I consider it MY TIME!
