Ok, so I've started the tag project. Sorry for so much business!
Here's what I did: First I created a new section under the Search function in the side bar (edited: I just moved the Search function to the bottom of the side bar, but you can see the Categories section very near the top of the side bar) which I've tentatively called "categories". Right now you can see a link called "Recipes". This link takes you to a post I just created, but dated 6/29/06 (the date of the first post on this blog). In that post is a list of links to all the posts with recipes (or healthy snack ideas, unless someone has a better idea of where to put them).
Then, for two of the posts this one and this one (hope this was ok with you B*) I went in and added the tags. All I did was add a line at the end of the post that said "Tags: Recipes". Then I made 'recipes' into a link that takes you to that post I just created. I got the link location by going into the sidebar (blog has to be open in another window, but you all know that) and copying the link location from there.
So this is what I envisioned as our organization system. It's not as easy as adding links for Technorati (though as far as I can tell the set up for that is not super simple) but it has the advantage that the categories and the collection of links is all internal to this blog. It's a little ghetto that the categories are just dummy posts hanging out at the beginning of this blog, but - well, it's better than me creating a second blog or something crazy like that. It may be a little annoying to copy the link everytime you add a tag, but I don't think it's TOO much extra work and I think it will be cool to have the posts all organized.
For now I just wanted to show everyone what I was thinking we'd do. I'll create the posts for other categories now and if we think this is good then you guys can link away. Once you've gone back and tagged your own posts (that's just adding the "Tags: ---" with the link in your post, let me know (via email, now in sidebar too) and I'll add your posts to the proper categories. Once we get caught up, you can tag as you go and I'll just update weekely.

Betty - I think I understand. You are going to create links for the other catergories. We use those as the link for the tag at the end of our various posts. Once we are done, we e-mail you. Is that correct?

Yes Ragey, you're right. I can't do this at work and my apartment is currently 100 degrees with no air conditioning, so I'm not at home much. It's internet cafes at night for me...so it might take a few days! Thanks!
Cool and no hurry. I just wanted to make sure I got it! I just read your other post about the heat in your home. Oh my! That has to be a hotbox! I hope you cool off soon.
