Hi everyone! I'm Honeybee, and I'm thrilled to participate in this blog. I thought it was a fantastic idea right away but took a few days to decide if I wanted to contribute. Here, in handy bullets, is a bit about me.
1. I'll be a 4th year grad student in the fall. Seems like most of our contributors are either ABD or already in a professorship, so I'm happy to give some insight from the "other side".
2. My weight has fluctuated, though not rapidly, since I came to University Town. After I moved here I lost a bunch of weight due to being more active and eating better. Last summer I put on a LOT of weight without really noticing it. My summer clothes must have had more "give" because none of my pants fit in September.
3. I am currently at my heaviest ever. 5'8" and 225 lbs. There, I said it. My saving grace is that I've always been chesty and fairly hippy, so even though I feel yucky no one has asked if I'm pregnant. (I'm horrified that some of you have had people say that!)
4. I finally started going back to the gym about a week ago. During the school year it's free, during the summer there is a minimal charge. My frugality demands that I actually go. So far I''ve managed to go 3 times a week the last two weeks. My goal for this week was 4, but I chickened out yesterday.
That's me in a nutshell. I'm hoping to find some recipes to post and to share ideas for not getting bored/viewing working-out as punishment. Thanks for having me!

Hi Honeybee! Welcome to the group! Looking foward to hearing more from you.
Hi HoneyBee - Welcome! I can't believe you have to pay to go to the gym at your school! I'm impressed you're so committed.
