Three days, three rides on the bike trainer. Each day at least 20 minutes. I got ambitious two days ago, set my timer for 24, then climbed off at 20. Back to 22 yesterday. It's all good.
I've been "an inspiration" to my wife, who has been riding the bike herself (actually, I have her bike set up on the trainer, since it's a nicer bike, and I wanted to encourage her). Fortunately, we're about the same size. She's a tiny bit shorter than me, but has longer legs, shorter arms, and a shorter torso proportionally than I do. In all, the bike seems to fit both of us comfortably.
I've been working at home, in the garage, where not only is my laptop table set up, but the weight bench and bike trainer stare at me all day (along with the clutter). I've been climbing on the bike around 5:00 or so, while (normally) the au pair has the boys in the park or at the beach. My wife has been getting on the bike in the evenings after the boys are in bed. When I've been feeling up to it, I use that time to lift some weights, do sit ups and push ups.
I'm not always so good at stretching, but I try. Just have to keep it up.
