End of Semester Activity
I'm curious to hear how the rest of you folks handle end-of-the-year stress--how to not let it affect your exercise routine. I'm on day three of a horrible allergy attack and missed yoga due to the soggy, painful mess that is my head.
No advice, just commenting to commiserate! I find it much too easy to get derailed when daily life takes over. I guess the only thing I do is make sure that if I'm neglecting my usual exercise routine, that I at least try to compensate by being active when I can, doing free weights in front of the TV, taking a walk at lunch, trying to work up a sweat while cleaning, etc.
I will echo the misery. I have been sick all month. Just today, I had to cancel class becuase of horrible allergies.
That being said, you have to do what you can handle. If your head is feeling like a football...it's probably not a good idea to work out. I think Kai made a good point about doing what you can by fining other activities.

Anyone else have any secrets?

Bottom line...take care of you!
