When I last wrote, I was aiming for 4 workouts/week, cutting back on sweets, and eating more salad.
Well.
Last weekend I came down with my second consecutive cold of the year, which has ended up tanking my exercise goals. I haven't done anything since last Saturday and I'm starting to feel like a big blob. But, truth is, I haven't had the energy. Until I'm substantially better, I won't be hitting the gym anytime soon, unfortunately.
I haven't done much better with the salad eating, but I have cut back on sweets. Instead of eating ice cream or cookies or whatever most days a week, I've cut back to one treat a week. I guess that's something.
I'm looking forward to getting back on track. Until then, pass the kleenex.

You and me both, sister. I didn't exercise for the past two weeks - today was my first day back. That said, with continuing to eat consciously, I continued losing even without working out (though less). Apparently, it really does matter what one eats. Who knew? Feel better!
I had the same cold as well and am now down to just the sniffles.
Nyqill during the day and alternating Tylenol cold and Claritin during the day seems to be the magic cure!
