Still in it!

I'm still here and on track (for the most part). I've been traveling for work which always throws me off course a little especially multiple time zone hopping, but I managed to stay active at the hotel pool and by walking to meetings instead of taking taxis. I'm just starting to see some results now and finally my clothes are fitting again. I've also been eating much healthier and I've definitely noticed a change in my overall mood. My body just feels "cleaner" in a way. I can feel myself getting bored with salads and plain old fruits and veggies, so if anyone has any recipes please PLEASE post them!!

For February I have been adding weights to my normal routine. I haven't done as well keeping up with this, since it's hard to pack weights in a suitcase, but now that I'm home for awhile I should be able to incorporate them into my daily life again. I was in the habit of doing simple weight exercises while cooking. It's amazing what you can do in the 15 minutes you are waiting for pasta water to boil, or even 5 minutes while the veggies steam. I need to put the weights back in the kitchen and start using those extra minutes to my advantage.

Here's hoping we all make it through the LONG Winter ahead. I can't wait for Spring!

Resistance band are great. Plus, they don't take up space in your suitcase.

I have also used the back stairways for a workout.

I have some recipes I will share.
