It is hard to get work done when your arms feel like lead and you want to eat your desk.
I went to the gym this morning before work, and I am wiped out. It didn't seem like a tough workout, but I think the combo of a morning workout (which I haven't been doing much of lately) and strength training (also kind of sporadic lately) did me in.
What I'd really like right now is a nap and/or a set of temporary replacement arms to use while mine recover. And some more food.
Instead, I'm going to drink some water to make myself feel full and count down until I can head home for the day.
Oh, and I will not be going for a run when I get home. Yeah. That seems like a no brainer, but I was actually contemplating a run before I realized how wiped out I was going to feel from this morning's workout.

Make sure that you are not over-doing it. Sometimes being tired is your body trying to tell you something.
Also, food is fuel. So, eat up!!!!
Yeah, I sometimes get a little gung-ho and push myself too far. I'm definitely resting up tonight and I'll just go to rowing class tomorrow night.
The crazy thing about the food is that I *was* eating today! I think it's just that the morning workout through my body for a loop.
Give your body some time to adjust to the AM workouts. Personally, I prefer them and they provide me with energy throughout the day. For some reason, I have an aversion to working out in the afternoon.
