Progress

I am back to the cardio level of intensity with my workout that existed before all the life heinousness occurred. I was completing a 35 minute workout on the treadmill with a speed of 4.0 MPH. I would like to start increasing my time, distance and speed slowly.

Next, I have to incorporate the weight training aspect. I am nursing a shoulder problem which is being treated by my good friend/chiropractor for a couple of weeks. It's still a little tender, so I purchased some resistance bands. My friend/chiro has suggested some exercises that will help strengthen my shoulder. I'm excited because my shoulders, chest and arms look awesome after a year's worth of training and I don't want to lose that with summer coming!

Congrats Seeking Solace! That is great! So happy for you that you are working your way back.

It sounds like you have estabished a reasonable goal for challenging yourself. I've used those bands in the past. They work great! I hope your shoulder gets to feeling better soon.
