This week, I'm up. Honestly, that is not too hard to believe since I was so shocked that I lost last week. It was inevitable for me to gain as that has been my M.O., it seems, the past oh, um, 6 months. I weighed in last night (switched weigh-in day to Monday) and I was up 4.2 pounds. Wow! 4 pounds! Oh gosh!
Well, I can say that I did not work out at all last week. Not one single day. It seems that in the past, if I workout at least 2-3 days and I don't eat properly I gain 2-3 pounds. I guess this is what happens when I don't eat properly and I don't workout.
Well, this is a new week and I'm back to working out. I mean serious working out. I mentioned last that I was joining a women's boot camp. Well, it started yesterday. Oh my goodness! I am extremely sore. Sore. Sore. Sore. I think the most difficult part about the camp is that we are, basically doing 60 minutes of straight cardio. I'm not used to that level of intense cardio for that period of time. I will say I had a lot of energy for the rest of the day, surprisingly, since I didn't make it to bed until almost midnight on Sunday (and up at 4:45 am!).
I wonder if tomorrow will be more difficult due to my sore legs and mid-section (full sit-ups!). Only time will tell...
Still taking it one day at a time.
