I went to the gym yesterday. According to the card where I keep record of what I do, I hadn't been since Aug. 8. Ugh. I know I have taken walks since then (not at the gym), though.
I feel it a bit in my muscles this morning.
Before I went to the gym, a colleague of mine asked me what I was up to, and I told her, and she was all, "good for you for doing something nice for yourself." She then received a rant about how I think working out is the penance I have to serve for gaining weight. It's basically self-flagellation, in my mind.
Then, afterward, I realized it wasn't all bad. I left motivated and feeling in good spirits.
But I left my watch at the gym.

Watch, schmatch... that's for people who have time on their hands. ;) Glad you hit the gym, even if it hit back a little bit.
i think it's punishment too. and i'm soooo all about self-gratification these days. you have NO IDEA how much junk food i've been eating and yet no exercise.
i'm glad you went to the gym though! yay for you!
Cheers for going back! Hope you got your watch back!!!
Wonderful! Every little bit counts!
