Many recent posts have focused on boredom with or dislike of our workout routine. I need to think while I workout or I end up thinking “I hate this. I hate this. I hate this.” Treadmills, eliptical machines, bikes, and TV are not for me. Instead I do yoga or pilates where I have to think or risk falling down (seriously, I do. I have zero coordination.) I alternate between:Yoga Conditioning for Weight Loss with Suzanne Deason (about 50 mins) and Pilates beginning mat workout with Ana Caban (25 mins). I also lift weights to strengthen my arms after the Pilates tape. I like both of these because they require concentration (for me anyway), they involve deep stretching which feels good, and they make me feel powerful.
What is your routine? (post links if possible)

I enjoy the 10 minute drill that I posted yesterday. It allows you to use different machines without the boredom setting in. Plus, you get on hell of a workout.
I like the treadmill. I just zone out when I am on it. I just crank up my Ipod!
But I think my favorite workout is taking my dog for a walk. I keep the paws moving as we travel through the neighborhood. Plus, he is ALWAYS willing to go! The bonus is that he gets a workout too.
I second the walk--it gives me time to think after a long day and I usually end up coming up with ways to solve all the world's problems (okay, at least my own). I do 1-4 miles about 3-4 days per week after work with a colleague.
I know you said you hate the treadmill and such. BUT, cardio like that is really the best way to begin to get the weight off.
I do 40 minutes each morning (either 40 on elliptical where you hold on and don't move your arms or 20 on that and then 20 on the one where you hold on and move your arms). I follow that with weights. Arms and upper back one day and then legs the next.
I haven't lost much weight (building muscle I suppose), but I did lose two clothes sizes since last August.
The best part: with this routine, I really don't have to diet. Really! I still drink my frozen margaritas and have chips and salsa at least once a week. I also can eat sweets in moderation.
The cardio burns between 400 and 700 calories and the weights another 100 or so.
I don't really hate the treadmill. I just have days where I just don't want to deal with it or any workout.
I do weight training as well. I circuit train, upper body mostly. I love the weights and how powerful it makes me feel. The end result is that my arms, shoulders and back look awesome.
I know cardio machines are best for weight loss, but I hate them and I know that I will not do them. (Used to own a bike and a treadmill and simply never used them despite promises to myself) I refuse to set goals that are certain to fail.
I do walk outside and enjoy that, but not when it is 90+degrees and more humid than a shower.
I do a 40-50 minute strengh training routine focusing on a specfic muscle group. Afterwards I do 15-20 minutes on the stairmaster depending on the day.
I weight train 3x/week. I see a trainer for two of those sessions, and he mixes up the routine, but it's pretty standard freeweight stuff, with a lot of stress on working core muscles, so lots of crunches.
I'm almost embarrassed to say this, but I do Dance Dance Revolution for my cardio. I absolutely loathe cardio machines--so boring! DDR is so incredibly fun and addictive that I have lost almost 40 pounds in 7 months.

Oops, I was so embarrassed, I forgot to put how much cardio I do. I do anywhere from 1/2 an hour to an hour and a half per day, 5 days per week. The game makes it easy to do--I honestly don't want to stop!

I took step aerobic years ago but still remember all the moves. So I find the right type of music, pull out my step and makeup something. It's never the same, which is nice. I also have pilates worksheets an instructor gave me when I had to move and couldn't take her class. And I bought Denise Austin's fat buring yoga. She's a tad annoying but the workout is really really good. if you like yoga, I suggest checking it out.
