Goals

Husband and I have set goals. For the summer he wants to life 5x's and when the semester starts he wants to keep it to 3x's (because that's realistic with work/school). My goal is to walk around the botanical garden path without breathing problems by the "end" of summer (labor day), 2 times. (As in, two laps around.) I've been trying to walk at least 4-5 nights a week even if it's shorter or slower some days, so at least I'm doing something. With the exception of last week, I've done that pretty well!

Great goals!!! Walking really is a great way to keep "active" and walking through the gardens sounds lovely!

SS, that's half the point! We've already planned parts of our garden for our future house!

Thank Kai. Like you I gave up fighting. I still have family saying "well if you did this, or that..." but I don't WANT to do those things and trying to results in not doing anything. So I'll stick with walking, stick with my goals and plan and hopefully (though doubtfully) they'll realize that I'm an intelligent adult who can figure out how to be healthy w/o advice that makes me cringe!

I love biking but bicycles can be so darn expensive.
