Tap Tap Tap

....is this thing on?

Not sure if anyone is still out there, but summer is officially over and my "I don't have AC and it's too hot to work out in my house" excuse doesn't fly anymore, so I am back at the get healthy grind. I managed to keep 6 pounds from the weight loss challenge I did over at Twitter last year off (HURRAH FOR SMALL SUCCESSES!) but I've still got 20-25 more to go.

I'm on day 2 of my renewed commitment to self. Nothing major, a 30 minute walk after work last night and 2 half mile walks (to and from work) and some arm exercises while dinner cooked.

I've actually had GREAT success keeping up with this 20 minute at home workout I found in Real Simple Magazine a few months ago. It's something you can do at home, with just some weights, a chair and a mat and it KICKS MY BUTT every time.

Anyone else renewing their health commitment with the new academic year?

I haven't been posting much, but I'm reading! Good for you on recommitting. Maintaining a good momentum is difficult, but we must keep at it!
