A concerted effort

During the month of December I am making a concerted effort do cardio every day that I go to work. No excuses. This is the time of the year, for me, when it is difficult to stay motivated to workout. Additionally, this is the time of year when food & libations are plentiful. There are always parties to attend, food in the breakroom, someone giving you candy, etc.

I am determined to not be detrimental to my body this holiday season. Therefore, I have a goal of boosting my cardio output during this holdiay season. 40 minutes of cardio at least 5 days a week. Thus far, I'm successful. I made it to they gym this morning and I completed 20 minutes on the recumbunt bike and 20 minutes on the elliptical machine. I also did 3 sets of abdominal exercises.

Great goal! I love the idea of breaking up the time on 2 machines...definitely helps the time go faster!

It is always this time of year, as the semester wraps up, that I feel least able to stick to a rigorous workout schedule. Kudos to you!
