What's going on?

Yes, I'm still around AND staying in shape. I've not made much progress toward the few pounds I want to lose and I'm okay with that. I am basically maintaining. One week I'm down 1.2 pounds then the next I'm up .6 pounds all within the range of 176-178. I think my body has decided that I've lost enough weight and it is happy where it is no matter what I try to do to alter that.

If I am really strict with my eating habits for 2 weeks straight, I barely lose any pounds. Then again, when I'm not quite on program for 2 weeks, I'll lose. However, I don't seem to get below 176 pounds. Of course, if you could see me you wouldn't think I weighed that much (probably due to my height and they way I carry the pounds).

It's all good. :)

In other news, I'm now training for a 10K. I'm in week 3 of my training and it is going pretty good. I was supposed to run 3.5 miles on Sunday and I only did 3. I thought I had added enough distance to make the 1/2 mile portion but I didn't. Oh well. I can say that I can do a full 3 miles with no problem. This Sunday will be a challenge. The schedule calls for 4 miles and I will be out of town. I'm taking my running clothes, but it will still be a challenge.

Overall, all is well.
