P is for Pilates

So I met my goal this week. Monday I looked up places through my insurance. Sure enough, there's a place locally that offers a variety of classes. I signed up for Wednesday night Pilates. (I can't do 2 nights a week right now). I started yesterday and I really like the instructor. I've taken Pilates before and enjoyed that instructor, but this girl approached things differently. It was a good different because she explained more of the theory behind why it works, and we spent a lot of time getting down our breath. I get it but it's not so easy when you add movement to it. I figure if I continue to enjoy this, I will see which summer session this instructor is teaching.

The class is for 8 weeks and as long as I attend 6 my insurance will pay for it. Can't beat that really. I'm not sure if there's a limit to how many times I can do this per year, but considering how much I pay in insurance, there shouldn't be!!!

That is great RentedLife. I had a pilates instructor like that once. I think by telling the participants the reason behind various exercises it helps to reinforce the need for it.

I hope you continue to enjoy the class!
