Hello.
Who's he? And what's a guy doing here anyway?
Thanks to New Kid and Betty for giving a little kick. I've been perhaps even more silent than others, a couple early posts, then disappear city.
And, I confess too, it's because I've been doing next to nothing about my health and fitness. My left knee still hurts. I try to stretch more often, do some squats, and leg lifts. I know from my physical therapy a few months ago, that the pain is most likely the result of sitting (cross-legged) in my computer chair for hours each day.
I need to stretch, more, all the time. I need to get walking and riding again. I'm stressed, and somewhat in limbo awaiting the changes that this upcoming move will bring. I want to find a small office or studio space, away from the house where I can force myself to ride a bike every day. Maybe I'll bring my weight bench there too, to get in some 20 or 30 or 45 minutes of training everyday.
I know what I need. And I realize that circumstances are merely an excuse, the motivation comes from within. Yet, I also know that novelty can bring with it inspiration. I'm counting on it.
